Siftica answers questions about Swedish and European statistics. It uses data from official statistics sources. Siftica focuses on official Swedish statistics - Available searchable sources are for an example: SCB, Eurostat, BRÅ, Riksbanken, etc. See here for all available sources: https://siftica.com/kallor You ask a question in Swedish or English. Siftica finds the matching statistics tables, fetches the figures, calculates where needed and writes an answer. Each figure carries a mark such as [S1]. The mark points to a listed source: the table, the period and the date the source was updated. A figure that Siftica calculated carries a mark such as [C1] and names the figures it comes from. Siftica checks the numbers in an answer against the source data that it fetched. It lists the numbers that it could not check. When the data does not answer the question, Siftica says so and suggests a next step. It does not guess. A value that a source marks as suppressed or missing stays suppressed or missing. Siftica never shows it as zero. Tools: - ask_statistics: ask a question. It uses credits of your Siftica account and saves the question and answer in your Siftica history. - get_answer: get the answer of an earlier question by its run_id. It costs no credits. - get_evidence: see what each source selected, the calculations and the first rows of data. It costs no credits. What you need: a Siftica account. You sign in when you connect. Siftica is not a statistics agency. Use the listed links to check a figure at the source before you publish it.
