Simple Hack runs hackathons from a conversation. Hackathons, now for everyone: the best idea wins, not the best coder.
Organisers ask Claude to create an event, set up registration, tracks, and a judging rubric, share the join and judge links, post announcements, follow judging, and publish results. Each event gets its own public page at its own address.
Participants join with the organiser's code, form a team, and describe their idea. Claude builds and publishes the team's website at its own address, such as https://seat-scout.brookfield-build-weekend-2026.simple-hack.app/, and fills in the entry. No coding is needed.
Judges open their queue, look at each team's frozen website, score the rubric, add comments, and declare conflicts of interest. Organisers can judge too.
Every person has one role per event: organiser, participant, or judge. The server checks that role on every call. Simple Hack is free and MIT open source.
