Spick Me — Swiss public transport
Spick Me answers questions about public transport in Switzerland — trains, trams, buses, boats and mountain railways — from its own routing engine over the official Swiss timetable. It doesn't guess and it doesn't scrape. • plan_journey: from anywhere to anywhere, door to door. Stations, addresses and named places all work, with the walk at each end included. Leave at or arrive by, via stations, fewer changes, more time to change. • departures: the departure board of any station or stop. • plan_day_out: a day with several stops and time spent at each, every leg timed from when the stay before it ends. • reachable_area: everywhere you can get to within a time budget. • travel_time_matrix: minutes from many origins to many destinations in one call — for comparing flats, offices or venues. • find_place: turns a name into a place the other tools take back. Every journey is drawn right in the chat as the card people share: lines, changes and platforms at a glance, with a link to open and share it on spickme.ch. Names are read the way people type them, and an ambiguous one comes back as candidates rather than a guess. Times are planned timetable times; live delays are not included. No sign-up and no key needed; free at the moment. Timetable from opentransportdata.swiss, addresses from swisstopo.
