Storybooks & Insights
Storybooks & Insights by Notifica is where reports live on your organization's own data warehouse, with your organization's roles, data scope and agreed definitions. This connector brings it into Claude. Read: list your storybooks, pages and blocks; query any block live with the storybook's filters; look up business definitions (what "revenue" means at your organization), insights, reader groups and datasets; inspect the tables and columns of your data warehouse; find Power BI measures. Build: create an exploration in your personal storybook or a draft storybook with pages, text, charts (Vega-Lite) and tables; write data definitions in SQL on your own data warehouse — every query gets a trial run first; record business definitions and link them to a column. Organize storybooks in folders (create, rename, move, delete — contents of a deleted folder move up), and create next month’s edition of a monthly report: a draft copy with the month filter one month ahead, in that month’s folder, a Take over a dashboard: a dashboard you made in a conversation with Claude becomes an exploration in Storybooks, rebuilt on live sources in your data warehouse. Parts without a source arrive as "to be linked" — a snapshot is never a source. Edit: change a block, a storybook's filters or the sentence under a block, or withdraw a publication. These tools are marked destructive, so Claude asks for confirmation first. Data definitions and business definitions are versioned; older versions are kept. Governance stays in the app: publishing, reader-group membership, approving definitions and roles cannot be done through the connector. You always work in your own organization, within your role; the server checks every object, exactly as for the assistant in the app. Every tool call is recorded in an audit log. Requires a Notifica platform account with the Builder or Administrator role in Storybooks & Insights and the AI connection enabled by Notifica. Interface and content are in Dutch.
