Sylus is an AI data analyst for your company's warehouse. This connector lets Claude work with your Sylus workspace: find the metrics and dashboards your team already built, read a metric's definition and its current numbers, and ask the Sylus analyst new questions in plain English. When you ask a question, the Sylus analyst explores the datasets you have permission to use, writes and runs the SQL on your connected data source (Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, ClickHouse), and returns an answer with a link to the full analysis in Sylus. It can save the result as a metric, dashboard, or report in your workspace so your team can reuse it. What Claude can do with Sylus: - Search metrics, dashboards, and reports by keyword - List the dashboards and datasets you can access - Read a metric's definition, SQL, and chart settings - Pull a metric's current data (up to 1,000 rows) - Ask the Sylus analyst a question, or follow up in an existing analysis - Fetch the answer to a long analysis once it finishes - List your past analyses to pick one up again Access follows your Sylus permissions. Claude sees only the datasets, metrics, and dashboards your own Sylus account can see. Connecting asks for two permissions: reading your Sylus content, and asking the analyst questions on your behalf. You can disconnect at any time. You need a Sylus account in a workspace with at least one connected data source.
