Taiwan Legal RAG (TLR) is a retrieval-only MCP server for Taiwan legal research, built by Dr.Legal (法律偵探). It gives Claude direct access to 22.7 million Taiwan court judgments, current statute articles, administrative interpretations (函釋), Constitutional Court decisions and Ministry of Labor arbitration decisions. What it does: - search_bundle: answer a legal question with a citation bundle. Every judgment in allowed_citations has had its reasoning text actually read by the server, so Claude only cites holdings it has seen. - search_judgments: structured listing of matching judgments with reasoning excerpts. - get_judgment_fulltext: read the full reasoning of a judgment, with appeal-chain history that flags decisions vacated on appeal. - get_law_article: exact lookup of a current statute article by law name and article number, for verifying statute citations before they go into legal writing. - get_legal_reference and search_legal_references: look up or semantically search administrative interpretations, with lifecycle status (repealed, superseded, unverified). Design principles: retrieval only, no LLM on the server side, bring your own model. A miss is reported as "not found" and never padded with similar cases. Citation guardrails are part of the data format so that real case numbers are not paired with fabricated holdings. Free to use, no account, no API key. OAuth 2.0 with dynamic client registration completes automatically when you connect. Per-minute rate limits apply.
