Tally connects Claude to a Lightspeed Retail (R-Series) shop. Ask how last week went at each store, what to reorder, which jobs are waiting on parts, where money is tied up in old stock, or what to move between stores, and get answers from the shop's own data. Tally keeps a copy of the shop's Lightspeed data. While the stores are open, sales, stock, and work orders are a minute or two behind, and everything else is refreshed about every 15 minutes. Answers say how fresh the numbers are and how far back sales history goes. Sales are counted the way Lightspeed's own reports count them. Each person signs in with their own work email, and the shop's owner decides who can see costs, customer details, and team figures. Tally reads by default. On Tally Pro, the owner can turn on changes, such as prices, transfers, and purchase orders, and a person approves each one before it's made. Its tools never delete anything in Lightspeed. Tally also sends a short morning email: what to do today, how yesterday went, and what's still open.
