TDE is deal counsel for importers and exporters. Give it an order, your terms and your cash, and it works out, month by month, what the deal does to your cash: when money goes out, when it comes back, and the first month you would drop below your own floor. When the plan breaks a limit, it names the limit and prices the smallest change that fixes it. Every figure carries a label saying where it came from: read from a published source, worked out from your figures, or estimated with its basis stated. TDE is deterministic: the same figures give the same answer. Live inputs are today's exchange rates (Bank of England) and how freely ships are passing the chokepoints on your route (IMF PortWatch). For goods entering the UK it looks up the duty rate from the UK tariff by product code and origin, and converts prices quoted in dollars, euros, yuan, rupees or baht at the Bank of England rate, each stated with its source and date.
