Telnyx connects Claude to your Telnyx account in read-only mode. Without signing in, Claude can search the public Telnyx API reference of more than 1,300 documented operations and return the full request and response schema for any endpoint, so you can find the right API and write correct code against it. After you sign in with your Telnyx account, Claude can also: - List your AI Assistants and read an assistant's setup: instructions, greeting, model, voice, transcription and telephony settings - Compare saved versions of an assistant and see your assistant tests and their results - List AI Assistant conversations and see each conversation's timeline (who spoke and when, and which tools ran) and its AI-generated summary and insights - See the tools, MCP servers, knowledge bases and integrations your assistants use - Check a call's live status, its event timeline and recording details - List your phone numbers, Call Control and TeXML applications, and check your account balance Every tool is read-only. The connector cannot place or control calls, send messages, buy numbers or change any setting. You only see data that belongs to the signed-in Telnyx account. Typical uses: a developer asking which endpoint sends an SMS, a team reviewing how their support assistant is configured, or someone checking why a call dropped or what callers asked about yesterday.
