The Legal Tool is the legal research platform for Uruguayan lawyers. This connector lets Claude search and read its public legal corpus: - Legislation: the Constitution, the codes (Civil, General Procedure, Commercial, Criminal, Tax and others), consolidated texts and laws, article by article. - Case law: rulings from the Base de Jurisprudencia Nacional (Supreme Court, appeal courts and trial courts) and the Tribunal de lo Contencioso Administrativo. Ask in plain language ("what does article 1319 of the Civil Code say?", "find rulings on constructive dismissal") and Claude cites the exact text, with a link to the source on thelegaltool.ai. The connector is read-only and only reads the public corpus: it never sees your documents, cases, transcriptions or chats in The Legal Tool. It requires a The Legal Tool account (free or paid). Searches count toward a monthly quota that depends on your plan; reading a document does not. Results are legal sources, not legal advice.
