The Machine is a personal assistant that runs on its own server or on your computer. It reads your email and chats, keeps a Graph of the people and organizations you work with, and turns what needs doing into to-dos. Connect it to ChatGPT to: - See your open to-dos, with the draft The Machine prepared and where each one came from - Check promises you made and promises made to you - Look up a person or organization in your Graph, with what is open with them - Read your team's latest brief - Add a to-do or an email draft for you to review - Save a fact, details, a tag or a summary line on someone's page It never sends anything. Drafts wait in The Machine until you read them and press Send there. Changes ChatGPT makes are marked as coming from ChatGPT and have Undo. Reading your messages is off by default: you turn it on per connection. You sign in with your The Machine account and pick your Machine. Your Machine's own page then asks what ChatGPT may do (read, or read and add) and for how long. Your Machine checks every request itself. Turn the connection off or remove it any time in Settings, Connected AIs. Requires a The Machine account.
