Township Canada turns Canadian legal land descriptions into GPS coordinates and back, inside your conversation. Ask about a quarter section or LSD in the Dominion Land Survey (Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba), a BC National Topographic System grid reference, a well UWI, a river lot or an Ontario lot and concession, and get the province, survey system and parcel centroid on a satellite map of the parcel boundary. Paste coordinates from a GPS, a photo or a document to find the legal land description at that spot. On Business plans, convert a list of up to 200 descriptions or coordinates in one request. Read the parcel report for any description: area and municipality, soil capability, recent crops, drought, productivity score and treaty area, plus well, pipeline, facility and tenure detail with the Energy add-on, or soil and crop detail with the Agriculture add-on. Check your plan and remaining allowances at any time. Built for oil and gas land and field teams, surveyors, farmers and farm lenders, and anyone who works with Western Canadian land records. Results come from the same survey data as the Township Canada web app, with an Open in Township Canada link for the full map, survey grid and directions.
