Toy Box gives Claude a set of small, deterministic utilities for everyday web and developer work: the kind of task that is easy to get subtly wrong by hand. Tools - calculate_date_difference: Count the days between two dates, with breakdowns by week, month and weekday, public holidays for 200+ countries, and business days after excluding weekends, holidays and your own closed days. - lookup_dns_records: Look up A, AAAA, MX, TXT, NS, CAA and other records with DNSSEC validation through Cloudflare's public resolver 1.1.1.1. IP addresses are looked up as PTR. - check_ogp: Fetch a public web page and audit its Open Graph and X card tags, including whether the preview image is reachable and correctly sized. - parse_url: Break a URL into scheme, host, registrable domain, port, path, decoded query parameters (with known tracking parameters flagged) and fragment, exactly as browsers parse it. - edit_url: Strip tracking parameters, remove, set or append query parameters, and drop the fragment without touching the rest of the URL. - test_regex: Test a JavaScript regular expression against sample texts. Returns every match with its position and capture groups, and checks positive and negative examples. - generate_uuid: Generate random UUID v4 or time-ordered v7 values. All tools are read-only and change nothing anywhere. No account, API key or sign-up is needed. The same tools are also available in the browser at https://toy-box.dev and through a REST API.
