Truo
Truo connects your Australian bank accounts to Claude, so you can ask about your own money in plain language. Ask what you spent on groceries last quarter, which subscriptions renew this month, or what the insurance cost this year against last. Claude answers from the transactions your bank supplied, and can show you the rows behind any answer, with the date, amount and description exactly as your bank sent them. Ask for a chart and Claude draws one from the same figures. Your data comes across under the Consumer Data Right, Australia's consent-based system for sharing banking data. It is collected by openfeed (Biza), an accredited data recipient (ADR000204), and disclosed to Truo with your consent. Truo holds no accreditation of its own and does not claim any. Your internet banking password stays with your bank. Truo cannot move your money or change anything at your bank: the Consumer Data Right has no write access to give. Inside your Truo account, Claude can do two things besides read: make a file of your history for you to download, and change your chart of accounts, which decides how your money is grouped in your statements. Your history is stored in Australia, with descriptions, merchant names and references encrypted under a key for your account alone. When you ask a question, the rows needed to answer it go to Anthropic in the United States. Every read Claude makes is listed on your activity page. Truo is not a financial adviser and holds no Australian Financial Services licence. It tells you what happened to your money and leaves the decisions with you.
