Verant
Verant checks published web pages for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and leftover placeholder text. Give Claude a page URL and it starts a scan, then reads back each finding with the exact quote from the page and the fix. Pro and Ultra plans can crawl and check a whole site. Every result links to a full report on verant.ai. How it works: Claude calls proofread_url with a page URL (or proofread_site with a site's root URL). Verant renders the page like a browser, reads the visible copy, and returns a scan ID at once. Claude then calls get_scan until the scan is done and gets the findings: the type of error, the original text, the correction, and the page where it is. What Verant does not do: it does not edit your website, it does not read pages that need a login, and it does not check text that you paste into the chat. Accounts: sign in with Google or an email link when you connect. A free account gets 2 pages a month, on the website and in Claude alike. Paid plans start at $5 a month; full-site scans need Pro or Ultra. Plans: https://verant.ai/pricing
