Wally: Budget Tracker
Wally is a personal budget tracker you use by chatting. Tell it what you spent or earned: "coffee 4.50 and taxi 12 yesterday" becomes two records, shown as cards with an Undo button. Ask "how much did I spend on food last month?" for a pie chart, or "spending by month this year" for a line chart. Check your wallet balances, log a transfer between your own wallets, or fix, delete and restore a record by describing it. Your records are kept in an encrypted backup in your own Google Drive, in Wally's private folder; Wally can't see your other files. Sign in with Google, and the first record you add creates your wallet. The Wally app for Android and iOS uses the same backup, so records added in the chat appear in the app after its next sync. The app is optional. Wally is for anyone who keeps a personal budget and wants to log spending as it happens. Wallets, categories and recurring payments are managed in the app; without it, you keep one wallet with Wally's standard categories. Wally is bookkeeping only: it records what you tell it and never moves money, makes payments or connects to bank accounts.
