WhichCrew
WhichCrew is a map of home-improvement work in Southern California, posted by the homeowners who had it done. Ask Claude who your neighbors hired for roofing, plumbing, painting, landscaping, a handyman, a fence, concrete, cleaning, hauling or any other trade, and get the crews neighbors actually used, ranked by how many different homes posted a job for them, with the neighbor's own notes and photos of the work. What the tools do: • find_crews: crews by trade and city, most vouched first; also looks a crew up by name. • get_crew: one crew's card plus its recent neighbor-posted jobs, notes and photos. • recent_jobs: the newest jobs neighbors posted, for one trade or city. • list_trades: every trade WhichCrew knows, with public job counts. • search and fetch: the same, for assistants that expect those names. How the information works: every job was posted by the homeowner who had it done, or with their permission; crews cannot vouch for themselves. Crews cannot pay for placement. Locations are shown at neighborhood level only; street addresses are never published. Prices homeowners paid are never shown. A license is given as a number and where to check it; WhichCrew does not vet, license or guarantee contractors. No sign-in is needed. Everything the server returns is already on a public whichcrew.com page, and each result carries the page URL to cite. The server is read-only: it never books, pays, posts or contacts anyone. Coverage is strongest around Long Beach, Lakewood and nearby cities and grows as neighbors post.
