WindRose connects Claude to real weather stations: the public WindRose network of personal weather stations (Davis, Ecowitt, Tempest, Netatmo, Ambient, AcuRite, Weather Underground and more) and the stations on your own WindRose account. Ask where it is raining right now, which station near a place recorded the strongest gust, or how this month compares with a station's own climatology. Claude can query the latest reading of every visible station, aggregate daily data across a region for studies (rain totals, frost or heat days), read any station's live conditions, daily summaries, time series, monthly normals and all-time records, and run the models WindRose uses in its app: heat-stress indices (heat index, humidex, WBGT, UTCI) and an EPA ISC3 / Cirillo-Poli dispersion screening model. Forecasts and ERA5 reanalysis from Open-Meteo are available at any point and are always labelled as model data. It also searches the official manuals of supported hardware (Davis, Ecowitt, Netatmo, WeatherFlow Tempest, AcuRite) and answers setup, calibration and troubleshooting questions with page citations. On the Business plan Claude can also manage your push alerts and one-minute monitoring windows — always with your confirmation. Values are metric with explicit units. Private stations of other users are never accessible; hardware and indoor data are shown only to the station owner. Requires a WindRose Pro (read-only) or Business (read and write) plan.
