xellstorm turns an Excel model into a Monte Carlo simulation in the browser: mark the uncertain cells, give them ranges, run thousands of trials, and see the odds of hitting your targets and what drives them. With this connector, Claude works in the xellstorm app open in your browser. It can read the workbook's cells, setup and results; make cells inputs with any of 48 distributions; mark outputs and targets; set correlations, scenarios and cells held constant; fit distributions to data; convert @RISK, ModelRisk and Analytic Solver formulas; run simulations and optimizations; and export results workbooks, HTML reports and PowerPoint slides. You allow the connection in the app first. Every change shows in the app as it happens, with a log of what the assistant changed; changes to inputs and outputs can be undone, and the connection can be paused or ended from the app's header. Calculations run in your browser: the workbook file, the trials and exported files stay on your computer. What the assistant asks for (cell addresses, values, the setup, result summaries) passes through xellstorm's server without being stored. You need an xellstorm account (sign in with your e-mail address; the example models are free) and the app open at app.xellstorm.com in a browser where you allowed the connection.
